With that understanding, Lookout now includes a new events feature that enables care businesses to promote, coordinate and facilitate events such as yoga, pilates or social gatherings that they run as part of their onsite or virtual community programs.

With the introduction of events, businesses can now facilitate and manage both in-person and virtual events for their customers through admin. The feature allows organisers to list event information, add recurring events, set a capacity number, include an rsvp date and manage attendee lists. The events feature is built upon the community model in Lookout, making it easy to make an event available to targeted sets of customers. events make it as easy as possible for customers to discover, register and attend activities – allowing customers to browse information about different events and activities, self-register and then have the booking added to their schedule.

Events support easy administration for operators including exporting the list of attendees for billing runs, automatically populating the event appearing to the customers' schedules and supporting creative promotional elements such as a banner image, location, hosts and the price information customizable for every event.

Yes, events are fully integrated into the care schedules to ensure that customers can view their upcoming events.

When will events appear on the customers bill?

Events are manually billed and therefore will appear in the customer's bill once it has been added to the pay run.

Does the system support recurring events?

Yes, the admin interface makes it easy to create and manage both one-off and recurring events.

Are customers sent reminders of upcoming events?

By default, customers will receive a push notification if they are on a smartphone or an email if they use a computer one hour prior to the scheduled event time.
